Pendleton Heights High School recently just had their Fall Break for the school year. Though many people decided to go somewhere warm and sunny. However, this year I decided to go somewhere completely opposite. This year I went to the the great state of Tennessee.
To be more exact, we stayed in Gatlinburg,TN. We stayed at a very nice INN called the Hilton Garden INN. Most of the visitors there stayed in a cabin but we wanted to be closer to the activities so it would be easier to get to and from. We did many things there such as Hillbilly Golf, The Mountain Coaster, and we also went on a drive through the mountains.
Of course, the food around was beyond delicious. The very first place we ate at was The Old Mill. It is very popular and though the line was a bit long it is worth the wait. Also, we had a couple other small dinner meals but the one that was by far the best was The Pirates Voyage. It was created by the famous Dolly Parton, it gives you many different southern foods along with a wonderful show full of tricks and a powerful story. Lastly, right before we set out for home we ate at the Pancake House in the downtown area of Gatlinburg, I highly recommend this one of the best breakfast me or anyone will ever taste.

These are fun or rather different foods the state fair has to offer. For example, the state fair has a food that is full of bison. These are the “Bison Hush Puppies”! They contain cornmeal batter, jalapeño, and of course red frazier bison, all together make a wonderful meal/treat.
Another great choice to try while at the fair is their “Hoosier Hometown Hash. This is a wonderfully cheesy sandwich that will leave a shockingly delicious taste in your mouth that you will just want more! This sandwich contains two hash brown patties, with the FOUR cheeses muenster, pepper jack, cheddar and swiss.
Lastly, we will end this blog entry with one of my personal favorites the “Deep Fried Chocolate Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich”. This treat is beyond sweet but is still a delightful treat to intake. Also this is a Hoosier favorite for most which is no hard to believe because it is a wonderful dessert. Finally, this treat contains Creamy vanilla ice cream sandwiched between 2 big chocolate chip cookies, dipped in funnel cake batter and deep fried, garnished with powdered sugar and chocolate sauce.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
